New BlackBerry PlayBook
On September 27, 2010 Research In Motion (RIM) announced the beginning of the research for the new BlackBerry PlayBook and it does not yet have a specified release date.
The BlackBerry PlayBook will be a PC in tablet format. The main specs will be: a seven inch LCD screen, 1GB RAM, a 1GHZ CortexA-9 dual processor and it will weight approximately 0.9lbs. It will have as connectivity features WI-FI and bluetooth.
The BlackBerry PlayBook has several features that will make it very popular once released. The operating system used will be the Blackberry Tablet OS and will be the first device to use this system. It will have two built in cameras, 5 mega pixel from rear and 3 mega pixel from from front view and shows 1080p HD video playback and plays back different files such as WMV, DivX and MPEG. In what concerns to the audio it will plays back different files as well.
Finally, there is future mention for the BlackBerry PlayBook to be release in both a 3G and 4G model.
At the end is another iPad rival.
