SEO processSearch engine optimization simply known as SEO isn’t as intimidating as the name implies. SEO is all about keywords. Search engines use keywords to to direct traffic to websites. If you use the wrong keywords you wont get the desired traffic or exposure for your website, blog or content. SEO uses keywords that are specific to a site and helps rank a site with search engines. You want to have your site listed on the first page that a search engine pulls up as most people will not search past the first page.

Understanding what SEO is will help you in determining how to use it. SEO is keywords that describe your content. If you content is about butterflies you would want to use keywords that are related to or describe butterflies. Keywords you could use could be Monarch, cocoon, metamorphosis, swallowtail or caterpillar to name just a few. You want the best descriptive keywords that relate to your content to optimize your sites ability to rank high in the search engines.

At the end you just need to choose wisely your keywords in your content.
